Colonial Kitchen Remodel
Lehigh Valley, PA
This conceptual school project focused on remodeling the first floor kitchen of a brick colonial home for clients who love to cook, entertain, and enjoy their coffee. Working with the existing layout meant I couldn't move any structural walls, windows, doors, or stairs, so the challenge was making the most of what was already there.
I expanded the kitchen footprint and added a large island with plenty of seating and prep space, perfect for hosting friends and family. The design includes updated appliances that work better for serious home cooks, plus a dedicated coffee bar since the clients are big coffee lovers.
Storage was a priority, so I incorporated a larger pantry to handle all their cooking supplies and ingredients. The goal was to create a space that feels warm and inviting while being super functional for their day-to-day cooking and entertaining needs.
